Charging Bull replaced with new Wall Street symbol

The famous “Charging Bull” sculpture, which has stood in Bowling Green Park near Wall Street since 1989, was suddenly removed sometime over the weekend.  Police believe it may have happened during the Super Bowl, “When no one was paying attention.”

While know one knows exactly who built the new structure, many seem to agree that it, “Makes a somewhat stronger statement about the future of the financial district and its purveyors.” 

Unlike the bull, which people were not supposed to climb on, the phantom installers of this piece of art are encouraging Wall Street bankers, brokers and financial services specialists to “try it out.”
