It's not true, they didn't come anywhere near my tabloids…

“James T. Kirk Made Me Do It!”

night_skyA former guard at the Carnegie Museum of Art admitted he slashed this painting after he saw a vaporous apparition of actor William Shatner arise out of the starfield, telling him to “key this piece of modernist crap.”

The artwork had, at the time of the slashing, been on loan out from the Art Institute of Chicago.  Insiders say they were just trying to “pawn off this dreck on small town museums.  You know, places like Toledo…or even smaller, more hopeless places like Pittsburgh.
